History

 

The company was formed in the late 1980s by Mike Hollingsworth after a brilliant career in radio and television production and management. In 2007 Venture Artists inherited the clients and staff of Key Talent Management. Building on our core qualities of integrity, broadcast knowledge and experience of the industry, we have developed a reputation for putting our client's interests first.

We pride ourselves on the regular contact and trust we have with all our clients. We believe this helps us understand their needs at vital periods of their careers. Agents at Venture artists have negotiated contracts and deal on a regular basis with top level broadcast and publishing personnel.

Chairman - Mike Hollingsworth

Mike has had a long and successful career in broadcasting, rising from trainee sub-editor in Anglia TV's newsroom at the age of 18 to Director of Programmes for breakfast TV station - TVAM, and consultant to BBC television on daytime programmes. He has undertaken programming projects for Sky, ITV, and the BBC as well as many satellite channels. In the late 80's he founded Venture Artists and helped formulate the careers of many top broadcasters. Aside from a brief time-out in university at Oxford in his late fifties, Mike has dedicated his life to the promotion and nurturing of talent. He also works for the charity Cancer Research UK.
Kimberley Stewart-Mole

A graduate of the University of Oxford, Kimberley started her career with the Daily Mail writing as a member of the showbiz team. From there she became an agent with top broadcasting agency, Venture Artistes where she was involved with the management of a string of high profile broadcasters - including Kirsty Young, Wendy Turner and Donal Macintyre. She has also worked with other top talent agencies. Kimberley co-authored the successful media tome "How to get Into Television, Radio and New Media" and other publications are in the pipeline. Kimberley is happy to give advice to new starters in the entertainment and broadcast fields. Recent successes include managing the recent stunning cover girl shoot for Melanie Slade and Arena Magazine and Nicholas Owen's performance as a contestant on smash hit Saturday Night Entertainment show "Strictly Come Dancing".
